Welcome to the Sports Diary! H2O DRAIN OUT BARMBY’S HOPES!! First of all, it was tight between Warter ‘B’ Team and Barmby Moor ‘B’ Team. Then Jack made a good run and passed to Charlie. He flicked it onto Jamie who was storming up the wing. He swung in a dipping cross that found Alex. All he needed to do was tap it into the back of the net – and he did just that!! The Warter fans went wild while the Barmby fans watched in disbelief. Half time score: Warter 1 Barmby Moor 0
As if this match could be any closer, but Barmby Moor kept their hopes up, as Sean (Goalie) took Warter’s goal kick, which went directly to the opposition. Charlie for Barmby Moor tried to place it in the top corner of Warter’s net, but Sean sprung and ordered a goal-saving dive and just got his hands on it. Just then, Charlie smacked a powerful drive that hit the bar, but Jamie followed up the rebound and grabbed the winner. At 2 – 0, the game was finished. IT WAS A TIGHT ONE !!
