Every week in class 3 the children are given a brain-builder question to think about and pin up answers to.

What do you think computers will be doing when you grow up?

I think you will talk to them and they will do what you say.

I think they will be hand-held and they will talk back to you.

I think there will be picture phones as well as just normal computers.

Tom D

What do you think about having tests at school?

I think it is very hard because you have got to get them right.

I don't like the tests at school but at least you learn a lot and if you get ten out of ten you are very clever.

I like tests because they make you get better, I don't like them because it is hard work.

What is a friend?

A friend is someone that makes you happy.

A friend is someone that helps you.

A friend is someone that plays with you and is there for you.

When have you been really scared?

I was scared when my dad's dog got a stick or a stone stuck in its mouth.

Dan M

I was most scared when I got lost at the fishpond. We had been there the previous day and I thought I would remember the way. But i got lost and some other grown-ups found us and took us back.

Anna W

Not that often because I am quite brave!

Wes

Do you want children when you grow up?

When I grow up I do want children. They will be good company. But then sometimes they might break my heart. It will be interesting to see what it is like to have them.

Anna.

I don't want children when I grow up because they are nosey.

Yes, because you have someone to love you and you have someone to cuddle when you are lonely.

I don't want children when I grow up because they cry and are naughty.

Dan M.

What would you do if you ruled the world?

I would make it as peaceful and comfortable as I could.

I would get rid of Eastenders.

Tom H

I would make it a better place.

Dan M

What is your favourite story and why?

Lord of the Rings, because it is fantastic.

Tom D

I like the fourth Harry Potter book, it is wicked.

Dan M

I think it is the big werewolf.

Rachel M

My favourite story is Winnie the Pooh because I like him.

Rosie.

What happens when you die?

You go to Valhalla.

Tom D

When you die you get buried in the ground but your soul gets judged. If it is lighter than a feather you go to heaven. If you are not you go to hell. If you ain't either you go to Jesus.

You get buried in the ground and your soul goes to heaven and you can look down on everyone on earth.

Rachel M.

Old Questions

What would you do with a million pounds?

Answers:

Buy a Tower Crane complete with wrecking ball, hook and chains, a house, a tractor and a lorry trailer complete with three wheels, a liftable trailer and a tailgate.

James.

Dear Mr. Kidd,

If I had 1000000 pounds this is what I would do with it, I would give some to the poor people who are living on the street. Then I would buy some seed's for some crops for poor people living in house's. And I would give some to a charity for children in need.

And I would save a little bit for me to buy a horse.

Anna

Dear Mr Kidd,

I would spend one million pounds on a new bedroom so my brother doesn't keep me awake all night!  And I would buy a field with a horse, a trainset for my brother, a new car for Daddy and some posh clothes for me and Mummy.

The rest I would give to poor people.

Love from Sophie

I would spend it on: a factory and house joined together, a million workers, one hundred lorry-loads of metal , engines and chains and ten wrecking-crane balls and ten bulldozer blades. Plus a trip to Legoland with my friends which are: Tom D, James R, Sam B and Chris C.
